Privacy Policy

The short version

PrintKoala has no user accounts, no login, and no shopping cart. You can browse and download every worksheet without telling us anything about yourself. We collect anonymous download and online coloring counts and, with your consent, use Google Analytics to understand visits and site usage.

We do not sell personal data, and we never will.

What we collect

Download statistics

When you download a worksheet we record a row containing:

• which worksheet was downloaded
• the time it happened
• the two-letter country code our hosting provider reports
• the referring page, if your browser sent one

We deliberately do not store your IP address, and there is no identifier tying one download to another. These records exist so we can see which worksheets are worth making more of.

Online coloring statistics

When you color a picture online we record a row when the picture opens, when you first color part of it during a visit, and each time you save it. Each row contains:

• which picture it was
• which of those three things happened
• the time it happened
• the two-letter country code our hosting provider reports

As with downloads, we do not store your IP address, and there is no identifier tying one row to another. Your drawing itself is never sent to us.

Newsletter

If you choose to enter your email address in a signup form, we store that address so we can email you. Nothing else is attached to it. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing deletes the record.

Advertising

This site is funded entirely by advertising, which is what keeps every worksheet free. We use Google AdSense.

Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the internet.

You can opt out of personalized advertising by:

• declining in our cookie banner, which tells Google to serve non-personalized ads on this site
• visiting Google Ads Settings
• visiting aboutads.info to opt out of many third-party vendors at once

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand information such as which pages are visited, how visitors find the site and which device types are used. Analytics storage is denied by default and enabled only when you choose Accept in the cookie banner. Google processes this data under its own privacy policy.

Local storage

We use your browser's local storage for three things, and none of them is sent to our servers:

• your answer to the cookie banner, so we do not ask again on every page
• pictures you are coloring online, so an unfinished picture is still there when you come back (the 24 most recent are kept)
• whether sound is switched on for online coloring

What we do not do

• We do not require or offer accounts.
• We do not use analytics to identify you personally.
• We do not sell, rent or trade personal information.
• We do not knowingly collect any information from children.

Children

The worksheets here are designed for children aged two to five, but the site is intended to be used by the adults who print them. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, email us at hello@printkoala.com and we will delete it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request a copy of any personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected, or to have it deleted. Since the only personal data we ever hold is a newsletter email address, in practice this means: email us and we will remove it.

Third parties

We rely on a small number of service providers:

• Google AdSense — advertising
• Google Analytics — website usage measurement
• Our hosting provider — serving the site and files

Each processes data under its own privacy policy.

Changes

If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top of this page.
