About this worksheet
This page shows one bunny riding in a hot air balloon, paws resting on the rim of the basket, ears standing up tall with one tip folded over. The balloon above is split into three wide panels by simple curved lines, and two twisted ropes run down either side to a woven basket marked out in a neat grid of squares. Off to each side floats a single small cloud, plain and rounded, with nothing else drawn in the sky.
There is a good mix of shapes here for little hands. The three balloon panels are large and open, so a child can lay down broad strokes of colour without worrying about staying inside tight lines, and the two clouds are just as easy. The basket grid is the fiddly bit, since each little square is its own small space, so it is a nice spot to slow down or bring in a second colour. The bunny's face gives something to talk about too, with its round cheeks and big round eyes, before naming which colour the balloon panels should be.
This is a straightforward page, not a fiddly one. How to use this sheet
