Friendly Mummy Coloring Page With a Bat

This mummy coloring page shows a smiling little mummy with big round eyes walking along a stony path, both arms stretched out in front and a loose bandage end fluttering from its head. Its bandages are drawn as wide stripes, a small smiling bat flies overhead, and a round pumpkin with a happy face sits in the grass beside the path. The question at the bottom asks your child to walk like the mummy and choose a color for its bandages.

Between two and five, children are moving from big arm scribbles toward smaller, steadier marks made with the wrist and fingers. A stripe has an edge on both sides, so filling one asks a child to start, slow down and stop at a line, which is the same control they will later use to draw shapes and form letters. Acting out the mummy's walk first also lets them practice turning a spoken question into an action.
