Holidays & Celebrations coloring pages for 4 year olds
50 holidays & celebrations coloring pages pitched at 4 year olds, free to print with no account and no watermark. Most are straightforward, with 15 that step up for a child who is ready for more.
The days a family actually marks on the calendar.
They assume a child who traces uppercase letters and numerals along dotted guides, which is typical at four. If that is not there yet, the age 3 sheets are the better place to start.
Sheets in this set include Skeleton Coloring Page with a Pumpkin, Three Party Balloons Coloring Page and Friendly Ghost Coloring Page With a Pumpkin. Each is one page on A4, laid out with margins wide enough that nothing is lost printing on US Letter.
Sessions of ten to fifteen minutes work better than one long sitting. Plain printer paper is fine for crayons; put scrap paper underneath if markers bleed through.
What most 4 year olds can do
- •Traces uppercase letters and numerals along dotted guides
- •Uses an emerging tripod grip on pencils and crayons
- •Counts to ten and matches quantities to numerals
- •Cuts along a straight line with child-safe scissors
Averages, not targets. Children vary enormously at this age.
