About this worksheet
This cruise ship has a face. Two big round eyes and a wide smile sit right on the bow, so the whole front of the boat becomes one friendly character rather than just a vehicle. Behind the face, the ship rises in three stacked tiers up to two tall funnels at the top. A row of four square windows runs along the middle deck, and a small anchor sits low on the hull near the waterline. In the top corner a round sun with straight ray lines watches over the scene, and two gentle wavy lines underneath stand in for the sea.
Most of this page is made up of large, calm shapes: the hull, the deck tiers and the funnels all give a young child plenty of room to colour without needing to stay inside anything fiddly.
