Sunny Side Up Egg Colouring Page

This page shows a single fried egg, drawn face-on, with a happy little face sitting right in the yolk. The egg white has a wavy, scalloped edge that ripples all the way round, and inside it sits one large round yolk. Two oval eyes and a curved smile are already printed in solid black, so there is nothing fiddly to trace around them — they are simply part of the picture, not something to colour in.

What makes this one worth printing is how few decisions it asks a child to make. There are really only two spaces here: the wide, curled white and the big central yolk. That is enough for a toddler to grab a yellow crayon for the middle and any colour they like for the outer shape, without needing to stay inside lots of small lines. The wobbly edge of the white gives slightly older hands some gentle wavy-line practice, but there is no fine detail to fight with.

Because it is just two shapes and a face that is already drawn in, this is one of the easier sheets in the Yummy Treats set. It suits toddlers who are still getting used to holding a crayon, and it also works as a quick five-minute sheet for a preschooler who wants to finish something start to finish without help.
