About this worksheet
A large fish with clearly separated scales, fins and a tail, set against seaweed and a trail of bubbles.
The scales divide the body into distinct bands, which gives a child a reason to use more than one colour on a single object — a small step up from filling a whole shape with one crayon. The six bubbles double as a counting prompt, so the page quietly carries some early maths alongside the colouring.
The curved outlines here are more demanding than the straight-edged house, which makes this the most advanced of the three colouring pages on the site.
How to use this sheet
Counting the bubbles at the end gives a natural stopping point, which helps if your child finds it hard to decide when a picture is finished.
