Santa Claus Waving Colouring Page

This Santa is caught mid-greeting: one mitten thrown up in a wave, the other hand holding a small bell, and a round, well-stuffed sack resting against his back. His hat has a fur band and a bobble on the end, his beard is one big rounded shape under a smiling face, and a wide belt with a square buckle runs across his coat. Two boots, two mittens, one sack, one bell and one hat bobble are the things to find and colour.

Almost everything here is a large, closed shape, the coat, the trousers, the beard, the sack, which suits a child who is still working out how to stay inside a line rather than dart across it. The belt buckle and the bell are the only small bits, so they are a good moment to slow down and use a finer stroke without the whole page depending on it. There is also a natural colour conversation built in: red coat, white fur and beard, black boots and buckle, so a parent can talk through which colour goes where before the crayons come out.
