About this worksheet
This bunny sits facing forward with its long ears standing straight up, one crossing slightly in front of the other. Its round face has two oval eyes, a small oval nose and a simple smiling mouth. Both paws wrap around a large plain egg held against its middle, and two more eggs of the same size sit on the ground on either side of its legs. Three small tufts of grass are drawn along the bottom edge, just enough to say "garden" without cluttering the page.
Nothing here is fiddly. The ears, the body and all three eggs are big closed shapes with plenty of room, so a child can colour with a fat crayon and stay inside the lines without much strain. The picture also gives a natural talking point: the eggs are all blank and all the same size, which is an easy opening to ask what colour each one should be, or whether they should all match.
This is a gentle sheet, easier than most in the Easter set because there is no basket weave, no patterned eggs and no background scenery to fill in. It suits a younger child colouring largely by themselves, or an older one who wants to add their own patterns to the plain eggs once the main shapes are filled in.
How to use this sheet
Let your child start with the bunny's ears and body, the biggest spaces, then move to the three eggs. If they want to leave the eggs plain white instead of colouring them, that works fine too.
