Waving Princess with Heart Wand Colouring Page

This princess stands facing forward with one hand raised in a wave, fingers spread open, and the other hand gripping a tall wand topped with a big heart. She wears a pointed three-tip crown, loose wavy hair falling past her shoulders, and a gown with puffed, cuffed sleeves. A single heart sits in the middle of her bodice, and her skirt flares out into a wide bell shape split into a few large curved panels. Her face is simple and cheerful: round eyes, dot pupils, and an open smile.

Almost everything here is a big, closed shape, which is exactly what makes this one work so well for small hands still learning to stay inside the lines. The skirt alone gives three or four wide panels a child can fill in with one bold colour each, and the puffed sleeves and crown are forgiving too. The two hearts, the crown points, and the fingers on her waving hand are the only fiddly bits, so there is a little contrast without the whole page becoming a battle. Compared with other sheets in the fairy tale set, this is on the easier side. The lines are thick, the spaces are generous, and there is nothing tucked into a corner that will frustrate a three-year-old. It suits a child just starting out with colouring as much as an older preschooler who wants to move quickly and still end up with a page that looks finished.
