About this worksheet
Three bananas grow from a single stem at the top of the page, curving down and slightly overlapping each other. The banana at the front has a face, with two large round eyes, curved eyebrows and an open, smiling mouth. Two of the three banana tips are already filled in solid black, so a child colouring this sheet is really finishing a bunch rather than starting one from nothing.
Each banana is one long, sweeping shape, which gives a child plenty of room to move a crayon without needing to stay inside anything small. The curved lines where the bananas meet each other are the only fiddly part, and even those are wide and rounded rather than sharp. It is a good page for talking about counting to three, since the whole bunch is small enough to count on one hand, and for talking about which banana is in front and which ones sit behind it.
This is on the easy side as colouring pages go, with no background to fill in and only the small face to slow young hands down. It suits a child who is still building control over a crayon, or one who wants a quick, satisfying page they can finish in a single sitting.
How to use this sheet
Let your child start with the front banana, since it is the biggest and has the most open space. The two black tips are already done, so there is nothing to worry about smudging there. Save the small face for last if they fancy a bit more of a challenge.
