About this worksheet
This page shows one large mug facing forward, with an oval rim at the top and a thick, rounded handle on the right. Nothing else shares the page, so the whole sheet is just this one friendly mug.
The body of the mug is one wide, open space, which makes it a good place for a child to practise staying inside a big curved edge without worrying about tight corners. The three hearts break that space up into smaller shapes of a similar size, so a child can give each one its own colour, or keep the whole mug to a single colour and just pick out the hearts. The handle's double outline and the rim's oval both ask for a bit more care, which gives slightly older hands something to focus on too.
