About this worksheet
This page has one flower growing in a plant pot, drawn nice and large. Five rounded petals fan out around a face with two round eyes and a curved smile. Below the face, a single curving stem runs down into the pot, with one broad leaf sticking out on each side. The pot itself is plain, just a rim band and a wider base, with no pattern to fill in.
Everything here is a big, closed shape, so a child can colour a whole petal or the whole pot in a few strokes without hunting for gaps to fill. There is nothing fiddly except the small dot eyes, which are easy to skip or leave black. It is an easy one to talk about while colouring too: which petal goes first, whether the pot matches the leaves, whether the flower's face is happy.
