About this worksheet
Five everyday things for keeping clean sit down the left side of the page: a bar of soap, a toothbrush, a comb, a towel and a bathtub. Down the right, in a mixed-up order, are pictures of brushing teeth, drying off with a towel, a teddy bear taking a bath, washing hands at a sink and combing hair. Your child draws a line from each thing to the picture that shows what it is for.
Children this age use these things every day, often without thinking about why. Naming what each one does helps them connect objects to their purpose, which supports vocabulary and the early reasoning behind sorting. It also gives them words for routines they are starting to do on their own.
Before drawing any lines, act out each habit together, such as rubbing hands with pretend soap or combing with your fingers. Then ask, "What do we use this for?" and let your child find the matching picture.
How to use this sheet
Read the capital-letter labels aloud as your child points to each picture. Keep the page near the bathroom sink as a reminder at bath time or before brushing teeth.
