About this worksheet
Six big capital letters from M to R sit in boxes down the left side, with the same letters mixed up on the right. Your child finds each letter's twin and joins the two dots with a line.
Several letters in this group look alike: M and N are both built from straight and slanted lines, O and Q differ only by a small tail, and P and R differ by one leg. Noticing small differences like these is the kind of close looking children need before they can recognize letters reliably.
Invite your child to trace each letter with a finger before searching for its twin. If O and Q or P and R get mixed up, point to the tail or the leg that sets them apart.
How to use this sheet
Ask your child to point to each pair before joining the dots. Afterward, say each letter's name together as you follow the lines.
