About this worksheet
W is two V's standing side by side: four slanting strokes, each one starting at the top line. The model shows a numbered dot at the top left, two in the middle where the second and third strokes begin, and one at the top right.
It is a wide letter with a lot of direction changes, and it usually comes out with rounded bottoms or a middle peak that stops halfway up. Mixing it up with M is common too; one is the other upside down.
Write a V first, then ask for another one touching it. Web, wagon and watermelon begin with W. Give this page a day of its own.
How to use this sheet
Do the V page before this one. If the letter runs out of room, let your child write fewer, bigger W's; size matters less than getting both points down to the baseline.
