Help the Bear Find the Honey Pot — Level 2

Bear and honey pot needs no setting up, and that matters more at level 2 than it did at level 1: the maze is now demanding enough that a child should not also be working out what the picture means. Fifty-three squares, with only 11 dead ends to be caught by, so the work is in the length rather than the forks.

Bears really do raid beehives, though they are after the bee larvae as much as the honey. Bees make honey from flower nectar and store it in wax cells shaped like hexagons, a shape your child can look for in picture books. The maze is long but not very forked, so the challenge is keeping going rather than choosing.

There is exactly one way through: no loops, and no square cut off from the rest.
