Help the Bear Find the Honey Pot — Level 2

Bear and honey pot needs no setting up, and that matters more at level 2 than it did at level 1: the maze is now demanding enough that a child should not also be working out what the picture means. Fifty-three squares, with only 11 dead ends to be caught by, so the work is in the length rather than the forks.

Ten cells across puts the corridors a little over one and a half centimeters wide. Still wide enough for a pencil held in a whole-hand grip, but narrow enough that staying inside the lines is now part of the task rather than a given.

The way through runs 53 squares and turns 32 times, with 11 dead ends branching off it. The grid is carved so that exactly one route connects the start to the finish: no loops, no second way round, and no corner walled off from the rest. Every square can be reached, and a child who follows the route carefully will always get there.
