Help the Horse Find the Hay Bale — Level 2

One of the two shortest routes at level 2, and with 10 dead ends among the least forked as well: 47 squares that mostly go where they look like they are going. This is the sheet to reach for when the last maze you printed ended in tears.

Ten cells across puts the corridors a little over one and a half centimeters wide. Still wide enough for a pencil held in a whole-hand grip, but narrow enough that staying inside the lines is now part of the task rather than a given.

The way through runs 47 squares and turns 29 times, with 10 dead ends branching off it. The grid is carved so that exactly one route connects the start to the finish: no loops, no second way round, and no corner walled off from the rest. Every square can be reached, and a child who follows the route carefully will always get there.
