A long route with a gentle shape. The way through is 29 squares but turns only 17 times, so it travels in reasonably long straight runs rather than zigzagging cell by cell. Straight runs are easier to hold in your head and easier to draw, which is why this one tends to go down well with a child meeting their second or third maze.

This is a level 1 maze: 8 cells across, with corridors a shade under two centimeters wide. That is roomy enough that a five year old's pencil control is never the thing holding them up, so the page is purely about finding the way.
