Where Each Capital Starts: A to M

Thirteen capitals, each with numbered dots marking where every stroke begins. Dot 1 is where the pencil lands first, dot 2 where it lands after lifting, and so on.

Stroke order is the part of handwriting that disappears once the letter is finished. A child who draws E as three bars from the bottom up and a stem last ends with a perfectly good E and a sequence that will slow them down for years — and nobody can tell by looking. This page makes the invisible part the actual content.

There is nothing to trace here on purpose. Work through it with a finger first, following the numbers, before any pencil touches the page.
