Write Capital Letters A to O

Fifteen capitals, one worked model apiece, and empty ruling for the rest of every row. Nothing on this page is traceable: the child looks at the model, then writes.

This is harder than it looks. Taking away the trace takes away a scaffold that was quietly doing half the work — the hand no longer has a track to follow, so it has to remember the stroke order itself. Letters that looked solid on a tracing sheet often fall apart here, and that is useful information rather than a setback.

Fifteen letters is also a lot of page. There is no need to finish in one go: three rows at a sitting, with the smaller letter-range sheets on hand for whichever letters wobble, works better than one long session.
