Know Your Shapes: All Five

The five foundation shapes on a single page, each drawn with a thick outline and labeled in capitals. This is the review sheet for a child who has met the shapes one at a time and is ready to tell them apart side by side.

Start with finger-tracing: around the circle without a corner, along the square counting four equal sides, up and over the triangle counting three. Corners are the key idea — the number of corners is what makes a triangle a triangle, however wobbly it is drawn.

Coloring each shape a different color turns the page into a matching game afterward: "point to the blue one — what shape is it?"
